No. Every game on this site is public. You need the free Komnu app to join one.

Players host them in the Komnu app. Each game shows what its host entered: the sport, time, place, level, format, price and open spots.

Joining happens in the app, where the roster, the waitlist and the match chat live. On a phone, Join opens your app store. On a computer, scan the QR code with your phone.

A city appears here once it has an upcoming game. Host the first one in the app and your city shows up.

Yes. Downloading the app, joining games and hosting games are free. An optional Pro subscription adds extras, such as waitlist priority, weekly repeating games and more alert zones. Free members can be in up to 5 games at a time and Pro members up to 10, counting games you've joined and ad-hoc games you host that haven't ended; waitlist spots and your own weekly-series games don't count.

iPhone and Android. Get it from the App Store or Google Play.

With your Google account, Apple on iPhone or iPad, or an email address and password. You need to be 18 or over.

Yes. Set an alert zone around your area in the app, and you get a notification when a new game in your sports is posted there.

Open the game in the app and tap Join. If the game is full, tap Join Waitlist instead.

When a spot opens, the next player on the waitlist gets it automatically. Pro members are offered spots before other players.

Many games are free. Paid games show the host’s estimated cost per player, which you settle with the host at the game. Komnu never takes payment.

Leave the game in the app. There’s no penalty, and your spot goes to the next player on the waitlist.

At the venue, tap Check in. The app uses your location once to confirm you’re at the venue. Each check-in adds to your count and badge, shown on your profile to signed-in users, not on the public website. Your past check-in list is private unless you choose to share it.

Create a game in the app with the sport, time, place, level and number of players. It appears on the map and on this site for players nearby.

Yes. You set the number of players, the skill level and the format. You can also make a game for women, for men or for non-binary players.

No. Komnu doesn’t process payments. If the venue costs money, enter an estimated cost per player and settle it with the players at the game.

No. The website shows games, never the people in them. Names and profiles are only visible in the app.

Hosts choose a public place to play, and the address helps players get there. The venue is never linked to anyone’s name.

Only when you tap something that needs it, such as Check in or Use my location. It never tracks you in the background.

Open their profile in the app and choose Report or Block from the menu.

Yes. Email support@komnu.app. Include why it is illegal, its exact location, your name and email (except for reports of child sexual abuse material), and a good-faith statement that your information is accurate and complete.

Report illegal content

Yes. Delete it in the app’s settings, or sign in on komnu.app/account/delete. Your account is locked straight away and deleted for good 7 days later. While it is locked, you can still leave games you joined or cancel games you host. We email you when you ask. To keep your account, sign in before then and choose Cancel deletion; signing in alone does not cancel it. If you can’t sign in, you can ask us by email.
