Report illegal content

Anyone can report content on Komnu that they believe is illegal. You do not need an account or the app. This is our notice channel under Article 16 of the EU Digital Services Act (DSA).

Email your notice

Send your notice to support@komnu.app, in English or Dutch. Please include:

  1. A sufficiently substantiated explanation of why you believe the content is illegal, including the law concerned if you know it.
  2. The exact location of the content: its URL if available, or enough detail to identify it (for example a game or profile, username, message, date and time). Include other identifying information needed for content without a public URL. Do not send us illegal images or videos; describe where they can be found.
  3. Your name and email address. These are not required for notices concerning offences involving child sexual abuse material under Articles 3–7 of Directive 2011/93/EU.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations in your notice are accurate and complete.

What happens next

If you give us contact details, we confirm receipt and notify you of our decision without undue delay, including the available ways to challenge it. People at Komnu review notices diligently, objectively and without arbitrary delay. We may ask for details if we cannot identify the content. See our moderation and complaints terms.

For other community-rule reports, use Report in the app or email us. In an emergency, call 112 or your local emergency number; this inbox is not an emergency service.
